Abstract
This article presents the study of two children's/adolescent novels by Alki Zei and Georges Sari from the perspective of intergender relations. The project aims to approach these relations from three different views: legal, sociological, and psychological. The novels selected are the following: "Peter's Long Walk" by Alki Zei and the novel "Ninette" by Georges Sari. This approach hopes to highlight children's/adolescent literature not only as a means of gaining a more profound knowledge about the reproduction of gender stereotypes in the family, school and society but also as a tool for strengthening healthy intergender relations through projecting models to be emulated or avoided. The first part of the article presents the theoretical approach to intergender relations from a legal, sociological, and psychological perspective, while the second part attempts to use part of the above theoretical framework in the reading of the two famous novels by Alki Zei and Georges Sari.
