Abstract

Agriculture, as we know it today, evolved through initiatives and activities at individual, collective and institutional level worldwide. The application of research results and the advancing technology led to inequalities of production and strategic development towards degradation of the agroenvironment in overall, as well as in charge of consumer's health. Organic Agriculture (OA), using various alternative methods of agricultural production has grown considerably in recent decades succeeding to combine the profitable production of quality products for the protection and conservation of natural resources of the ecosystem and health of consumers.

This paper presents the model of Precision Organic Agriculture – POA using applications of Geoinformatics and Mathematics by applying Multicriterial Analysis and Analytical Hierarchy Process. POA manages to utilize information technology supporting actively the model of Organic Agriculture and, at the same time, the sustainable management of organic agricultural plots and of the adjacent agroenvironment for the benefit of the society.
