Abstract

The Documentation of Information of Property Objects is based nowadays on the project of the Hellenic Cadastre. On the basis of this project the Documentation takes part on the two-dimensional representation of real objects although many buildings and constructions are situated above or under the ground. The fundamental objective of the present research is the creation of a Spatial Cadastral model of 3D objects that means a System of Land Registration that will concern the vertical dimension. The research focuses on the present cadastral situation of Greece. Conclusively, it has appeared that 2D cadastral registration system is not sufficient anymore, due to depict the legal status of real estate objects. However a full 3D Cadastre can not be technically supported yet. The data which has been used for this research is the descriptive and spatial Cadastral Data Base of a region.
