Η ανταπόκριση στην πολιτική δάσωσης γεωργικών γαιών: μια χωρική ανάλυση με τη χρήση ενός υποδείγματος τακτικής παλινδρόμησης

Η παρούσα εργασία επικεντρώνεται στην αξιολόγηση της συμβολής στην ανάπτυξη και προστασία των δασικών εκτάσεων της χώρας, των ειδικών πολιτικών για τα δάση που αναπτύσσονται στους κόλπους της ΕΕ, τις τελευταίες δεκαετίες. Ειδικότερα, διερευνώνται η σημασία και οι κυριότεροι παράγοντες που επηρεάζουν την εφαρμογή μιας σημαντικής συνιστώσας της Κοινής Αγροτικής Πολιτικής για τα δάση, αυτής της δάσωσης γεωργικών γαιών. Η πολιτική της δάσωσης γεωργικών γαιών, μεταξύ άλλων, στοχεύει στον εμπλουτισμό και την επέκταση των δασών σε επίπεδο κοινότητας και εφαρμόζεται από τις αρχές της δεκαετίας του 1990 μέσω των κανονισμών ΕΕ 2080/92 και ΕΕ 1257/99.
Στο πλαίσιο της έρευνας επιχειρείται η εμπειρική διερεύνηση των σημαντικότερων παραγόντων που έχουν ασκήσει επιρροή στην ένταση και έκταση αποδοχής του προγράμματος δάσωσης γεωργικών γαιών, στους 51 νομούς της χώρας. Επομένως, το κεντρικό ερώτημα της εμπειρικής ανάλυσης σχετίζεται με την ερμηνεία των παρατηρούμενων χωρικών διαφοροποιήσεων στην ένταση εφαρμογής του προγράμματος δάσωσης γεωργικών γαιών μεταξύ των χωρικών ενοτήτων. Η προσέγγιση του κεντρικού ερωτήματος επιδιώκεται μέσω της κατασκευής και εξειδίκευσης ενός ποσοτικού υποδείγματος τακτικής παλινδρόμησης στο οποίο ενσωματώνονται αρκετοί σημαντικοί οικονομικοί και κοινωνικοί παράγοντες καθώς και συγκεκριμένα περιβαλλοντικά χαρακτηριστικά των περιφερειακών χωρικών συστημάτων.
