Αποτίμηση των επιπτώσεων της πολιτικής συνοχής της ΕΕ στην ευρωπαϊκή και την ελληνική οικονομία

Η συζήτηση για την κατάρτιση του κοινοτικού προϋπολογισμού και την κατανομή των πόρων του μεταξύ των τομέων δράσης της Ευρωπαϊκής Ένωσης (ΕΕ) είναι κομβικής σημασίας για τη δραστηριότητά της σε κάθε προγραμματική περίοδο, όπως και για τον σχεδιασμό των παρεμβάσεων της περιόδου 2021-2017. Μεταξύ των βασικών πολιτικών της ΕΕ με χρηματοδοτικό χαρακτήρα είναι η πολιτική συνοχής. Σε αυτή τη βάση, το άρθρο μελετά την επίδραση που είχε η συγκεκριμένη κοινοτική πολιτική διά της μεταφοράς πόρων μεταξύ κρατών μελών/περιφερειών της ΕΕ στην οικονομία και στην ανάπτυξη. Για αυτό τον σκοπό αξιοποιούνται δευτερογενώς τα αποτελέσματα σχετικών επιστημονικών άρθρων και εμπειρικών μελετών, που καλύπτουν τις τρεις προγραμματικές περιόδους της εικοσαετίας μεταξύ 2000 και 2020. Η επισκόπηση των συνεπειών αναφέρεται στο σύνολο της ευρωπαϊκής οικονομίας, με εστίαση στην περίπτωση της Ελλάδας.
