The target of this work was to examine the relationship of the members of a “special” category of population -single immigrant mothers of the area of Thessaloniki- with the matter of their children’s education, a case about which very few things are known -especially in Greece. The “Case Study” composed the chosen strategy of inquiry, while the open interview composed the main researching technique (method). The analysis of the twelve lone immigrant mothers’ interviews whose children were studying at Greek public schools, revealed the problems and the difficulties these women face, trying to contribute to the normal educational incorporation and the good school course of their children,
