Abstract

The paper investigates the students’ attitude of the School of Dentistry AUTH, towards social distancing, due to Covid-19, through an empirical research. The majority of students (62.5%) stated that they had experienced quarantine as negative emotions, involving uncertainty about returning to daily life and classes, as well as anxiety about finances and their health condition. The pandemic, triggering chain changes in everyday life, was a universal social event, as it was spread on an international scale. It has also created stress and tensions, resulting in a psychological strain and an unbalance of normality, the recovery of which is not yet visible.
