“Το παιδικό βιβλίο εν πολέμω”: Η εγγραφή του τραύματος του πολέμου στη λογοτεχνία για μικρά παιδιά

Abstract

The main stake of this paper is to highlight the inscription of war trauma in books for young children and to discuss how such a tough issue can be presented to readers of such a sensitive age. Following the increasing trend of contemporary publishing production, original and translated, which approaches this theme more and more often, we attempt to study the intersections between the representation of the war trauma and the fictional narrative through the comparative study of recently published picture books for young children. The texts will be examined through the method of close reading, focusing on the plot, the setting, and the identity of the narrator.
