Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

Authors can submit their manuscripts (in Greek and English), in MS Word format, to the journal:

Α. SCIENTIFIC ARTICLE SUBMISSION


All Articles should have the following format:
1.Text format: Word document. The article should not exceed 15 pages.
2.Font: Times New Roman, 12
3. Space: Single
4. Page margins: left‐right: 3cm, up‐down 4cm
5. The Title Page should include the following:
a) Title of the article with central alignment, in bold, font size 14
b) First/Last name of Author/Authors with central alignment, in bold, font size 12, after single line
spacing from Title.
c) Authors Degree and Title (Professor in Children’s Literature, researcher etc.) in bold, font size 12
d)Affiliations of Authors in bold, font size 12
e) Double line spacing
f) All manuscripts should include the following sections in exact order:
Abstract (in both greek and english)
Introduction
Main body (which will include Methodology and the main topic)
Conclusion
References (greek and english)

Notes:
1.The above headings should be written with central alignment in font size 12 (bold). For the rest of the manuscript both left and right alignment can be used. All paragraphs should include an 1cm indent. All subheadings should also have central alignment in font size 12(bold).

2.All citations should be in Italic, font size 11 with single line spacing before and after paragraph. «» symbol should be used for citations and ‘’ symbol for terms and small abstracts included in main text.

References, notes, citations
The journal uses the APA reference style for both references and citations included to the main text:
Citations inside the main text should be inside brackets ().
If additional or explanatory notes are needed, they will be numbered accordingly on the left or right bottom of the page.

Citations
(Bourdieau, 1963) for citations inside the main text (Bourdieau,1963:32‐33).
For >1 authors of books/articles: (Bourdieau & Passeron,1964), for >1 citations: (Montandon 2003, Brunel 2000), (Montandon 2003:17, Brunel 2000: 29‐30).

  1. Figures and Legends: Please submit on a JPEG or GIF format on the smallest size possible and include the legends as required.

4.The maximum size of the manuscript containing file should not exceed 1MB. If needed, main article can be divided in separate files.

Β. BOOK REVIEW SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Review articles, both for theoretical framework and children/young adult book, should not exceed 3
pages.
Font: Times New Roman, 12
Spacing: Single

The following order should be followed by Authors: Book Title in Italic and bold, Authors names, translator (if applicable), illustrator (if applicable), city and Country of origin and Editors. If main text includes a Front Page and Figures please submit on the smallest size possible, always in JPEG or GIF form.

ΒΙΒΛΙΟΚΡΙΤΙΚΕΣ

 Το ηλεκτρονικό περιοδικό «ΚΕΙΜΕΝΑ για την έρευνα, τη θεωρία, την κριτική και τη διδακτική της Παιδικής και Εφηβικής Λογοτεχνίας» δέχεται βιβλιοκριτές για θεωρητικά, παιδικά/εφηβικά βιβλία (λογοτεχνικά και βιβλία γνώσεων) που αφορούν την πρόσφατη κυκλοφορία βιβλίων.

Το κείμενο της βιβλιοκριτικής πρέπει να είναι γραμμένο με τις παρακάτω προδιαγραφές:

  1. Μορφή κειμένου: Word Document
  2. Περιθώρια σελίδας: αριστερά-δεξιά 3cm, επάνω-κάτω 4cm
  3. Γραμματοσειρά:Times New Roman, 12
  4. Διάστιχο:1,0 (μονό)
  5. Αριθμός λέξεων: έως 800 λέξεις
  6. Εφόσον υπάρχουν βιβλιογραφικές πηγέςστο κείμενο, τότε ακολουθείται

        το σύστημα ΑΡΑ

Τα κείμενα των βιβλιοκριτικών δεν υπόκεινται σε κρίση και εκφράζουν αποκλειστικά τη γνώμη, όσων τα υπογράφουν.
