Abstract

Participating in sports must contribute to the development of people who participate in Intervention programs which have as a goal to improve body image and eating attitudes implement frequently in typical population but not in female athletes. Body image and eating attitudes are considered to be effected in certain sports, as rhythmic gymnastics. In the present article is described the necessity for the development of an intervention program, and the relevant theories are presented. According to all the above, a program is presented with details, and is proposed to be addressed toward preadolescent and adolescent rhythmic gymnastics athletes.
