Abstract

The purpose of the present study was to examine the European creativity program “Daidalos”, in terms of its components, its pedagogical aims and its practical application in teaching practice, in alternative art educational setting. In particular, the data collection was structured with elements that clarify the precise enrichment of the protocol, with innovative teaching strategies, specific creative thinking learning techniques and alternative creative dance activities, so as to support student’s creative abilities attending in Art Schools (Junior High and High Schools). The conclusions of the present study could, on the one hand, contribute to the elicitation of the creative learning process and, on the other hand, to the revision of the learning goals, of innovation and creativity, in already updated curriculum programs, in typical and art education institutions. Therefore, the innovative creativity program appears to be a contemporary educational tool, usable for the educator’s didactic and learning processes, in the field of psychomotor, dance and art education. To summarize, it is reflected the strength of “Art and Dance Education”, as an antibody to the contemporary demands of each educational system.
