Abstract

The aim of the present review is the examination of dance effects on old people’s physical and psychological health. Information concerning the relationship between dance, as a form of physical activity, and old
people’s health is presented, as well as researches for old people’s participation in dance programs aiming to
their health improvement. The studies review showed that the participation in dance programs is a way for
old people’s physical as well as psychological health improvement.
