The platform is operated and technically supported by the University of Thessaly Library and Information Centre providing digital publishing services that can be used by the Departments and members of the educational and research staff of the University, in order to: a) publish new scientific journals in electronic form or b) to transfer existing scientific journals published in electronic or printed form in an open access interactive electronic publishing system. Until today the platform hosts four University e-journals. More information about the platform and its terms of operation can be found in the ABOUT section of this website.

Aeihoros: Essays on Spatial Planning and Development
The purpose of the Aeihoros Scientific Journal is the promotion of dialogue and reflection on issues related to Urban Planning, Spatial Planning and Development, related to both Greek and international experience.
Aeihoros publishes scientific texts that contribute originally and critically to the scientific literature of Urban Planning, Spatial Planning and Development, shaping the scientific discussion both at theory and application level.
Aeihoros is published by the Department of Planning & Regional Development, Faculty of Engineering of the University of Thessaly (Print ISSN 1109-5008, Online ISSN 2944-9847).

Στο ΒΗΜΑ ΤΩΝ ΚΟΙΝΩΝΙΚΩΝ ΕΠΙΣΤΗΜΩΝ δημοσιεύονται πρωτότυπες ερευνητικές μελέτες και άρθρα, ενώ φιλοξενούνται θεωρητικές αναζητήσεις και ερευνητικά εγχειρήματα που καλύπτουν το ευρύ φάσμα των πεδίων των κοινωνικών επιστημών: οικονομικά, κοινωνιολογία, ψυχολογία, πολιτική επιστήμη, δημογραφία, κοινωνική ιστορία, κοινωνική ανθρωπολογία, επιστήμες της αγωγής.
Το ΒΗΜΑ τΚΕ, από την ίδρυση το 1989, ενθαρρύνει τον διάλογο στον χώρο των κοινωνικών επιστημών και δημοσιεύει όλες τις επιστημονικά τεκμηριωμένες απόψεις. Εστιάζει τόσο σε εθνικές όσο και διεθνείς μελέτες, ενώ προάγει τον διεπιστημονικό χαρακτήρα πρωτότυπων ερευνητικών μελετών. Δημοσιεύει επίσης, βιβλιοκριτικές από τον ελληνικό και τον διεθνή χώρο, σχετικές με τις κοινωνικές επιστήμες.
Το ΒΗΜΑ τΚΕ εκδίδει δύο τεύχη ετησίως καθώς και τεύχη αφιερωμένα σε επίκαιρα ζητήματα που απασχολούν την κοινωνική έρευνα και την σύγχρονη κοινωνία.

Inquiries in Physical Education and Sport
The open accessjournal "Inquiries in Physical Education and Sport" provides the latest scholarly inquiry related to physical activity, solely after the evaluation of work by qualified members following a peer review process.The mission of the journal is the dissemination of knowledge, research and practical applications in diverse topics including Physical Education lessons within school settings, physical activities of students during leisure time, childhood and adolescent sports, exercise and sport of special populations and high-level sports. The journal publishes research articles and extensive review or practical application works which fall into four scientific areas:

KEIMENA/TEXTS for the research, theory, critique and didactics of Children's Literature
E-journal KEIMENA <TEXTS> for research, theory, review, and teaching of Children’s Literature, is an intercollegiate journal, with its’ editorial board consisting of Academic Staff members from the Faculty of Education of most country’s Universities. The aim of the E-Journal KEIMENA is to provide a platform to discuss Children’s Literature in a theoretical level and present innovative research on the field, based on interdisciplinary cooperation, to enable the integration of academic discussions with practical implementation and building experience.
KEIMENA was first established in 2005, by Professor and Director of Laboratory of Speech and Culture of University of Thessaly, Prof. Tasoula Tsilimeni. It is published twice annually, except of occasional Special Issues. KEIMENA is an open access, double-blinded peer-reviewed journal.
