The Relationship between Perceived Physical Education Teacher’s Verbal Aggressiveness and Argumentativeness with Students’ Interpersonal Attraction

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between perceived physical education teachers verbal aggressiveness with interpersonal attraction in the university context. Firstly, the scale was translated based on responses of 243 Greek students of the University of Thessaly, Department of Physical Education and Sport Science. All students were 18-24 years old. The results supported the internal consistency, and factor structure, of the translated instruments. Secondly, a correlation analysis conducted and the results showed a very significant positive relationship between argumentativeness and the three dimensions of interpersonal attraction, but a significant negative relationship between verbal aggressiveness and three dimensions of interpersonal attraction and argumentativeness.
